InPrint 2013, the latest event from EcoPrint founders, FM Brooks, will take place 13-14 November 2013 in Cologne, Germany - the heart of Europe's manufacturing centre.
Across the world, 3D printing, rapid prototyping and digital inkjet printing have heralded the advent of a third industrial revolution, moving from mass-manufacturing to mass-customisation. InPrint 2013 will be the place to discover the new technologies and disciplines required to address this seismic change in world manufacturing. Whether it is functional print, such as additive manufacturing, or decorative surface imaging for interior decor, InPrint will focus upon innovation that improves productivity and creates new print applications.
As a stand-alone event, rather than an 'add-on' to an existing exhibition, InPrint will place a unique emphasis on providing the burgeoning industrial print community with access to answers and future opportunities across a range of industrial applications.
The launch of this new event follows the successful launch of EcoPrint 2012 and will be based on the same collaborative approach, prioritising education exchange on a strategic level for both manufacturing processes and businesses that serve the industrial sector.
Print technology manufacturers, printers and consultants who have attended group meetings and have contributed to the development of InPrint 2013 include world leaders from the inkjet head development, ink and substrate manufacturing sectors. Further details of contributors and exhibitors will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Marcus Timson, Director, FM Brooks said: “We’re very pleased to be launching a new show dedicated to the industrial printing sector. The successful launch of EcoPrint 2012 has proven there is a need for new events that specifically focus on the key strategic issues and opportunities for print. For future print technologies and technical print, whether inkjet or screen, there is currently no dedicated event and community that connects technological innovators with strategic industrial decision makers and pioneering print entrepreneurs. This gap will now be filled with the launch of InPrint 2012.”
Rob Haak, of specialist inkjet consultancy Spikix, and a member of the InPrint Development Group and one of the key developers of inkjet, agrees: “There is a huge transformation taking place within the manufacturing sector. We are moving towards mass customisation, and new technologies are required to meet that demand. The role that inkjet can play within this new shift is significant, leading to innovative inkjet applications and further ink and fluid developments to address the end-user requirements for these exciting opportunities in the industrial printing markets.”
“With the support of Mack Brooks Exhibitions and with access to a community in excess of 500,000 individuals and businesses, we are confident we can attract a focused audience of innovators and early adopters, who will attend the event either to improve their production performance or to develop an additive process that introduces new applications, increases both profit and production efficiency. InPrint will bridge the gap between print technology and industrial manufacturing enabling new opportunity and ultimately, new business,” concludes Timson’s fellow Director, Frazer Chesterman.
