Of course our own VIIE show and the other print shows that are coming together at Darling Harbour are the first that comes to mind and all forward thinking printers and signies will be at the combined show.
However, for all those eco minded printers may want to consider a speedy flight to Berlin for the opening of the inaugural EcoPrint 2012 on September 26th. It only opens for the 26th and 27th, so visitors to Darling Harbour most likely will be giving it a miss.
For the bigger companies, both shows should be considered important with top management going to both shows.
Fabrics, including recycled fabrics will be one of the main features at the EcoPrint show. "Imagine wearing a new shirt that was worn by somebody else in its previous life", said one of the UK's top textile recycling executives. It may take a stretch of the imagination but we have reached that point where this is highly probable.
