Roland DG has announced an update for the VersaUV LEF-12 making it even easier to use with vastly improved workflows and efficiencies.
Roland DG has announced an update of the VersaUV LEF-12 UV-LED inkjet printer with the addition of several functions to vastly improve workflows to achieve greater efficiency.
The VersaUV LEF-12 flatbed UV-LED inkjet printer allows users to directly print a wide variety of solid materials on demand. Since its launch in June 2011, the LEF-12 has come to be widely used around the world, particularly for personalisation of gifts and goods with printed photos and original designs applied to smart phone cases, promotional items and more. The machine has also been praised as a business tool promoting access to new business as users can produce value-added results on demand.
Roland DG has now released three functional enhancements to the VersaUV LEF-12 in order to enable improve efficiency and greater productivity:
• Setup Procedure - the procedure before printing has been drastically simplified for functions such as height settings, making setup possible in as little as a quarter of the time, enabling reduction of total work time.
• Consecutive Output - A new function has been adopted to enable consecutive output of printing jobs. When multi-layer printing is required, such as applying gloss finishes after white printing, this can also be performed automatically and efficiently.
• Print Head Movement - By limiting print head movement to the printing area, printing work can now be carried out with greater efficiency. This makes it possible to print in a shorter time, especially when printing small areas.
