The FESPA Awards 2013 celebrates innovative and exceptional work created by printers from around the world. The competition is only open to members of a FESPA member association. However, the Industrial category welcomes entries from non FESPA members across this diverse sector.
Entries will be judged on excellence, creativity and precision. The outright winner within the Screen, Digital and Textile categories will have the prestigious honour of being crowned the FESPA Premier Award (Best in Show). The second prize will be presented with the FESPA Platinum Award.
An independent international panel of experts will cast their vote on all categories. 
There is also a People’s Choice Award judged by visitors attending FESPA 2013. This special award opens up the vote - across all competition categories - to FESPA’s international audience; giving all entrants the unique opportunity of having their work recognised by their peers. All winners will be announced at the awards presentation on 27th June and will be invited to attend the FESPA Gala Dinner on Thursday 27th June 2013 in London.
Nigel Steffens, FESPA CEO comments: “We launched the FESPA Awards twenty nine years ago and I have seen the print industry change and evolve significantly throughout this time. Printers today are becoming ever more creative to meet customer expectations. FESPA’s global community of printers are producing astounding pieces of work and these Awards enable us to acknowledge their achievements and inspire others to strive for the same quality and innovation.”
He continues: “The FESPA Awards, funded by the organisation’s Profit for Purpose reinvestment programme, is designed to reward excellence and celebrate best practice. The Industrial category in the FESPA Awards is open to non-members as we hope that these Awards will also encourage new groups and individuals to join FESPA’s growing international communities. ”
Overall winners will receive cash prizes totalling €5,000 in recognition of excellence. The deadline for submission of work is 20th May 2013.
