Screen Europe will launch the Screen Truepress JetW1632UV wide-format printer across Europe in April. The Truepress JetW1632UV is the first Screen-branded wide-format UK inkjet printer combining superior design and innovative technology from both Screen and its group company Inca Digital.
To celebrate the launch of this high-productivity, high-quality flat-bed UV printer, Screen is holding an Open House event at its European Solutions Centre in Amstelveen, The 
Netherlands, on April 23rd and 24th. Visitors will see the Truepress JetW1632UV in action printing display graphics on a range of substrates at speeds up to 94 square metres per hour.
The Truepress JetW1632UV supports media sizes up to 1600mm x 3200mm up to a maximum 48mm thickness. The micro-droplet printheads deliver razor-sharp 1200 dpi text, fine definition and smooth vignettes. Screen’s inks offer a wide colour gamut and, when combined with light cyan and light magenta inks, produces stunning photographic-quality back/front-lit displays.
Also on show will be PDF Polisher software, Screen’s automated software solution to enhance and optimise images and PDF files. The software features a number of presets to meet specific demands e.g. faces or jewellery, automatically applying different levels of contrast, sharpness and colour correction. The result is enhanced and optimised output even from less-than-perfect source files.
