Hot on the heels of the Fuji Xerox announcement last week of their DocuWide C842, Xanté have now announced their version, the Excelagraphix 4200.
Xanté showcased the Memjet-powered Excelagraphix 4200 and Excelagraphix 850, plus the Ilumina 650 GS Series, Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press, PlateMaker 6, and the newest version of iQueue Ultimate Prepress Workflow at the Graphics of America show in February.
The Xanté Excelagraphix 4200 Inkjet Print System featuring the Memjet Waterfall Printhead Technology that delivers more than 3 billion drops of ink per second, for print speeds up to 8 times faster than traditional inkjet technology. Professionals can print over-sized architectural / engineering documents, maps, indoor signage, POP displays, packaging, folding cartons, corrugated boxes, newspapers, and more, all on-demand. The adjustable media path allows users to print on a wide variety of media (including extremely thick foam board and corrugated cardboard) and sheet sizes (from 8.27" x 8.27" up to 42" x 50′). Operators can personalise individual pieces as printing continues, running variable data at full speed.
