Roland DG Corporation has won another prestigious European Digital Press (EDP) Award at the recent EDP Association's ceremony held at FESPA 2013. The new generation of eco-solvent ink, ECO-SOL MAX2TM took out the award for the Best New Generation Solvent Ink Technology.
ECO-SOL MAX2TM is the latest generation of Roland DG's award-winning eco-solvent ink series. It is available in CMYKLcLm, light black, white, and metallic silver and has been designed to deliver maximum performance in terms of outdoor durability, scratch resistance, image sharpness, chemical resistance, and colour gamut. ECO-SOL MAX2TM is compatible with an extensive range of print media in the market and is also nickel free.
The EDP judges selected ECO-SOL MAX2TM as the winner because of its ease of use, the reduction of harmful substances in its formulation, and the outstanding printing results it can achieve. "This is just what the users want," the judging panel stated in its evaluation.
ECO-SOL MAX2TM is available on Roland's newest range of production printers - the PRO4 XF-640, a super-fast production printer ideal for producing quality prints at high speeds, which also won the exclusive Print21 'Hot Pick' award at the recent PacPrint and Visual Impact show; and the PRO4 XR-640, Roland's most versatile printer/cutter available in four configurations with up to eight colours, including white, metallic, and light black.
