Kern Laser Systems, based in Minnesota, USA, is pleased to appoint Positive Camtec Pty Ltd as their exclusive distributor for the Australian market.
Whilst Kern Lasers already have a client base in Australia, the move to appoint Positive Camtec is a show of commitment to the market, providing current and new clients with the peace of mind of a local contact who is savvy on both sales and technical aspects of the product range.

Positive Camtec will have the Kern HSE large format laser engraver and cutting machine on show at Visual Impact held in Sydney from September 12 ~ 14, and will carry out personalized demonstrations from their Silverwater facility following the show. The HSE machine on show utilizes a 150 Watt laser source and is able to cut and engrave plastics, metal, timber, fabric, paper, card and many other materials, as well as offering three dimensional and photo engraving.
“We are looking forward to show and demonstrate the Kern HSE Laser at visual Impact 2013” said Adriano Gut, Sales and Marketing Manager of Positive Camtec. “It will be the first time a Kern Laser has been on show at a trade show in Australia, and we are expecting to generate a lot of interest in the entire Kern range.”
Kern Laser Systems produce a wide variety of machines featuring differing table sizes and laser power to accommodate a wide range of applications. All of their machines are fully manufactured in the United States of America and all electronics and software is produced in-house.
