Judges have announced that judging is complete and that a record number of entries were received for the 2013 SGIAA Digital & Screen Awards to be held on October 12 at Luna Park.
Head of the Judging Panel, Mr Bill Porteous, commented:
“The standard of entries this year has been impressive. We are noticing a huge shift towards the digital format, giving excellent results in all categories. None-the-less there are also some innovative techniques being used in the screen printing sections. The calibre of entries we are seeing is a true reflection of technical development along with the skill and creativity of the companies involved”.
The Awards entries will be on display at the Awards Gala night, allowing the industry to inspect and debate the quality of the entries for themselves.
Winners are celebrated at a gala event at the prestigious Crystal Palace, Luna Park, Sydney on 12 October 2013.
The biennial event will be hosted by brilliant comedian Dave Thornton – regularly credited on TV, Radio and Stage with appearances on Good News Week, Good Morning Australia, Rove & The White Room.
