Spicers Australia has signed an agreement with Mimaki Australia to sell their full range of capital equipment, effective immediately.
The Mimaki range consists of, Eco Solvent Printers, Latex Printers, Dye Sub Printers, Flatbed Printers in sizes of 2.1m x 3.1m, A2 and A3, and Cutters. ‘We’re really excited about the Mimaki deal,’ comments Jason Hay, Spicers National Sales Manager – Hardware Division. ‘Our hardware line up is growing steadily and already includes trusted brands such as EFI, Rollsroller, Fotoba, Canon and Kala Laminators. Mimaki is yet another brilliant addition and a good fit for Spicers.’

JV400SUV The JV400SUV sounds like it belongs in a car-yard, but rest assured it is a printer and a fantastic one at that. Combining the flexibility of solvent printing with the durability of UV-cured inks, the result is smooth, glossy prints with high resistance to scratching and weathering. With fast drying inks and immediate curing, prints exit the machine completely dry and ready for post-production.

machine. With lower ink curing temperatures (60 degree Celsius or less), greater flexibility and choice of media is obtained. Energy efficient with more ecologically friendly inks, this printer also delivers the world’s first water-based white latex ink.
JV5-320DS This is Mimaki’s Large Format Direct Sublimation printer, and, as the name suggests, direct printing onto polyester based materials and other soft signage is possible on this machine. Blessed with extras such as the Automatic Media Feeder, Spray Suppressor System and the optional Nozzle Checking Unit, the JV5-320DS is super-wide and prints at high speeds up to 60.3 sqm/h.
JFX500-2131 If there was a Guinness Book of Records for flatbed printers, Mimaki’s JFX500-2131 would be in it. This new high-precision grand format Flatbed UV LED printer has broken all established records for printers of its type, with production speeds of up to 60 sqm/h. With an Intelligent Microstepping System (IMS), this machine delivers such high quality, even 2pt characters can be legibly printed.
UJF-6042 This A2 Format UV LED Flatbed Printer is the bigger brother of the popular UJF-3042. Offering all the benefits of the smaller UJF-3042, this machine offers greater versatility and amazing photo-print quality. The printer of the future, the UJF-6042 can print onto an almost limitless range of materials, objects and substrates and is even suitable for 3D lenticular printing and unique textures on metals.
