Marabu North America (branch of German ink company) has been recognised again by SC Biz News as one of South Carolina’s top 20 fastest-growing companies, this time in the large business category.
In 2012, Marabu North America was awarded the number one spot in the small business category. This year, Marabu North America moved into the large business category and landed at number 13 for the 2013 list.
For-profit companies headquartered in South Carolina were qualified and ranked according to growth and revenue. Company size was determined by gross revenue of $10 million and less for small companies, and more than $10 million for large companies.
SC Biz News said that this formula levelled the playing field between smaller and larger companies within the two categories. Points were awarded based on dollar and percentage increases in South Carolina revenue from years 2011 to 2012.
