swissQprint presented the Nyala 2 at Fespa Digital 2014. According to swissQprint, it is now the largest, most productive and efficient machine in the Swiss manufacturer's product range and swissQprint consider the Nyala 2 as a new generation of inkjet printers.
What is most noticeable about the Nyala 2 is the visual similarity to its predecessor, the Nyala. The total machine size is in fact the same however the printing table of the Nyala 2 is 25% larger than its sister model at 3.2 x 2 metres.
The device can be transported in one piece, which keeps the start-up time short, and above all ensures the functional stability of the machine.
Nyala 2 works with the latest print head technology which means that at a maximum speed of 206 m2/h, the printer knows no draft mode and in production mode, the printer is producing high quality prints.
The Nyala 2 has been recognised by half a dozen customers already in the run-up to FESPA Digital and have placed their orders and will put their new workhorse into operation in the second half of the year.
The investment will be higher than the earlier swissQprint machine but when put into perspective, Nyala 2 produces the lowest costs per square metre when used optimally.
