Printing Industries has expanded its energy efficiency services for members introducing a new partnership with BJ Ball’s e3 Powersave Voltage Optimisation.
Voltage optimisation is an energy saving technology that is installed in series with the main electricity supply to systematically optimise and clean the incoming power supply to bring the voltage supplied into a building in line with what is required.
This helps to prolong the lifespan of electrical equipment and minimises energy use reducing energy waste and cost.
While savings vary, in the most extreme cases the technology can deliver as much as a 25 per cent reduction in energy waste and cost.
Printing Industries National Director, Communication Technology and Creative Service, Joe Kowalewski, said e3 Powersave could be installed in any size business and integrated into businesses energy efficiency projects.
“We now have two major energy efficiency services for members with the addition of BJ Ball’s e3 Powersave service. This gives members a choice of printing industry specific alternatives designed to reduce their energy costs,” he said.
“Our services now cover whole of business energy efficiency project development and implementation and voltage optimisation. Later this year we will be introducing a third component that will take the reduction of energy costs to a new level.”
