Roland DG Australia was proud to support the industry as platinum sponsor of the Visual Impact Expo last week. Roland DG showcased several new products, continued the 'print for purpose' charity initiative, and provided inspiration to visitors with a wide range of creative applications on display.
In addition to showcasing the latest products and technology, a major feature on the Roland DG stand was the array of creative applications on display, including furniture and interior design applications, unique fine art samples, and several fabric printing examples all printed using Roland's eco-solvent and UV inkjet technologies.
"We wanted to inspire visitors by showing them a range of applications that are not commonly associated with digital printing" commented Greg Stone, sales manager for Roland DG. "Visitors were certainly impressed by what they could produce and hopefully took something away from the show that they could incorporate into their own businesses".
The range of technology on display on the Roland DG stand attracted a lot of interest, in particular the new VersaEXPRESS RF-640 and monoFab series on display for the first time. The VersaUV LEF-20 and VersaCAMM VS-640i were amongst the most popular products on the stand with many solid leads currently being followed up.
Roland DG is also currently sorting through rolls of prints produced during the show as part of the 'Print for Purpose' initiative. These banners and posters will be delivered to Camp Quality, RSPCA, Raise, and FBi Radio to help promote current campaigns that these organisations are running.
Roland DG would like to congratulate Graphic Effects who won a Roland PRO4 XR-640 Printer Cutter after taking out the grand final of the ASGA Wrap Master Challenge. This competition has been a huge success throughout the year, culminating in an exciting final on the second day of the show. All the teams that competed should be commended on their sense of comradery that was on display for the event.
