Spicers have announced the first EFI VUTEk GS3250LX Pro with MEG kit installation at Printbound, in Melbourne’s east.
Known for its exceptional quality/speed balance, the machine features LED cool curing technology, curing the ink at 46% cooler temperatures than mercury lamps. These factors combined with colour quality and consistency, flexibility, lower running costs and ‘green’ credentials make it one spectacular piece of equipment.
Naresh Gulati of Ocagroup, owner of Printbound and more recently, The Bindery, is understandably pleased with the 
renowned machine.. ‘‘It is a fantastic printer that delivers a quality no-one has ever seen before at these speeds,’ Naresh comments. ‘We have been involved with Wide Format work in the past, but the purchase of the VUTEk is our first major move into insourcing wide format. We are really looking forward to having control over quality for our POS jobs.’
Aside from wide format, Printbound are also heavily involved in Offset and Digital Printing, as well as warehousing, distribution, marketing, photography and design.
Installed last week, with trial runs still underway, the printer is already booking jobs. ‘The machine is a master. It is hungry, it needs more work,’ laughs Naresh.
As such, Naresh extends an invitation to fellow printers to utilise Printbound’s resources. ‘’We welcome printers using our equipment and to work together to help make a difference in the industry.’ Naresh continues. ‘Partnerships are important to us and are a key part of our vision.
