Spandex WA hosts international wrapping expert workshop

Spandex, with the support of Avery Dennison, recently completed an exclusive car wrapping workshop for WA customers, conducted by one of the world’s leading wrap experts, Justin Pate.

has personally wrapped over 3,000 cars and commercial vehicles over a 16-year career. He is endorsed by Avery Dennison and also Mutoh, having created a highly efficient car wrapping platform called UGIS: Universal Graphic Installation System. Using UGIS, Justin can comfortably wrap almost any vehicle by himself in under 5 hours and even some vehicles, like cargo vans, in 2 hours. UGIS is the basis for the workshops he teaches throughout the world.
For the Perth workshop, a select group of 16 Spandex customers were shown techniques to improve efficiencies when wrapping vehicles. After a tuition session, the group broke into smaller teams to put their theory into practice, with live vehicle wrapping.
