In response to the news that Drupa plans to move to a three-year cycle following its 2016 trade fair, Mitchell Mulligan, President of GAMAA, who co-presents both PrintEx and PacPrint, made the following comment:

"The international trade show environment continues to evolve as the needs of the industry shift. This is reflected in the announcement this week that drupa will move to a three-year cycle.
“It has always been, and continues to be, GAMAA’s position to keep abreast of international trends by analysing how these trends will affect the local market, consulting with our partners, PIAA and VISA, and drawing on the expertise of Reed Exhibitions.
“While our efforts are concentrated on PrintEx15 at present, which will be held in Sydney 13-15 May at the Sydney Showgrounds, we are also in the process of a full review of trade shows with our membership. This is especially pertinent in light of both the Drupa announcement, and within the context of the merger conversations that we are undertaking with VISA."
