Matan Digital Printers will exhibit at Fespa 2015 the Matan Quantum 3.5m Super-wide format hybrid UV printer.
The Quantum features High Definition printing with 7pL droplets. Specially designed for HD quality close-view indoor applications. The Quantum also offers a new Inline Protective Coating option. Also exhibited at the Matan booth at Hall 9 X12 is the Barak 8QW 5m printer with 8 colors and sensational white printing capabilities.
"Fespa is an excellent opportunity to introduce our newest model, The Matan Quantum, to the European market" said Hanan Yosefi, President & CEO of Matan. "We have developed this unique printer in answer to the industry's demand for the highest print quality for a wide variety of applications. The high quality and versatility of this unique printer can help our customers increase their profitability", added Yosefi.
The 3.5m Quantum printer features an innovative print head, which produces a phenomenal print quality, with HD resolution, based on 7pl drop size and up to 1,200 dpi, excellent transitions, vignettes, skin tones and shadows, as well as precise and sharp 4 point size text. These advantages make this a perfect match for indoor close-view applications such as point of sale, point of purchase, exhibition graphics and more. This printer is available with either LED or Arc curing.
Matan will also present its new product line, MatanFlex and QuantumFlex, especially designed for Fleet Graphics application, including truck side curtains and car wrapping as well as any other application that requires long durability like floor graphics. Both these 3.5m UV printers use Matan’s newly developed inks, with outstanding stretchable properties together with the new Inline Coating. The new Flex product line was designed to offer a robust and industrial replacement to the solvent printers which were traditionally used for these applications and are being retired due to their age and the environmental hazards they pose.
The new Inline Protective Coating is applied to the print simultaneously with the printing, without slowing down the production speed. It provides outdoor protection against abrasion and scratching, chemicals, including detergents, weather damage, UV fading and more. Together with Matan’s unique inline finishing system, the inline coating combines into a revolutionary efficient workflow that includes printing, coating, trimming and cutting on-the-fly. Not only does it eliminate the need to purchase expensive separate equipment, it also saves valuable time, floor space and staff.
“We are very excited to present our latest technology in Europe at Fespa, since it is the largest and most important stage in Europe this year” concluded Yosefi. “Matan continues to make important developments and to lead the super-wide format industry with innovation for our customers”.
