ColorGate Digital Output Solutions GmbH and ColorInLab Color Consulting S.L. have announced a strategic partnership for the development, distribution and service of colour management solutions targeting industrial printing markets.
Since 1997 ColorGate has been successful developing software solutions, RIP Software and printer driver technology for the Commercial Printing and Industrial Printing. The core product Productionserver a modular RIP and color management software is used by thousands of digital imaging end users all around the world every day. ColorGate is actively engaged in the emerging Industrial Printing market since its beginnings 10 years ago. The new Industrial Productionserver Family covers all applications in Industrial Printing, from Ceramic, Décor and Packaging right up to Textile with dedicated RIP Software solutions.
As experts for excellent colour management and comprehensive control of printing systems, ColorGate is committing its knowledge day-to-day to our end users and partners to deliver individual and flexible solutions for various requirements and application areas. Especially for integrators in the Industrial Printing market, ColorGate is aspiring to reduce the time to market significantly.
ColorInLab based in Castellón Spain at the heart of the Spanish ceramics industry was established in 2006 by Juan Martorell Climent with the objective to deliver high-class colour management solutions and services to the market. During this time ColorInLab has been the Iberian distribution partner for ColorGate.
Both companies have a proven record of delivering outstanding solutions and services to the ever evolving market of digital printing applications. For the last 3 years both companies have collaborated to developed solutions which target the growing market of digital ceramics printing. Latest developments of the partnership are the Ceramic Productionserver, a workflow and colour management solution targeting producers of ceramic wall and floor tiles as well as the recently announced Rapid Spectro Cube (RSC), a new colour measurement approach that allows measuring colors from a variety of complex substrates which are challenging to measure with conventional graphic arts spectrophotometer.
ColorGate and ColorInLab are now announcing to regather their efforts to develop complete workflow solutions for various industrial printing segments. One target will be an automated process from the design through to the production of digitally decorated goods such as ceramics, decorated surfaces, textiles, wallpapers and packaging.
The partnership was recently selected to receive significant funding for their innovative development activities.
