The ColorPainter range of wide-format printers, available from Canon Australia, has taken the industry by storm since its release last year. Now manufacturer OKI Data Infotech is extending warranties on the ColorPainter M-64s & H3 series to a full three years.
The new extended warranties are available on M-64s and H3-104s range of ColorPainter printers purchased from Canon from 1 April 2016.
Tom McKerrow, Product Manager – Display Graphics for Canon Professional Print, says this latest announcement is the ‘icing on the cake’ for purchasers, who will enjoy the quality and performance for which the ColorPainter printers are known, as well as outstanding service and support via Canon’s extensive national service network.
“The ColorPainter printers are widely regarded as the ‘best in class’ in the roll-fed eco-solvent category and they have proven enormously popular since we introduced them to the Australian market last year,” says McKerrow.
“Their unrivalled combination of speed, quality and versatility makes them ideal for a very wide range of applications from banners and signage, long-term outdoor applications like fleet graphics and vehicle wraps, to quite lavish wallpapers and interior finishes, so they’re ideal for businesses looking to expand their product range and create profitable new revenue streams.
“In fact, the M-64s are now arguably one of Canon’s most popular wide-format options, with the larger H3-104s the perfect solution for those looking to print up to 2.5m wide.”
Importantly, McKerrow says, the ColorPainter range has proven to be exceptionally reliable – this has led OKI Data Infotech, which recently bought out SII printing (Seiko l Infotech) division, to extend the warranty on the M-64s range from two to three years, and triple the warranty on the H3-104s printers from one to three years.
“This is a powerful statement by the manufacturer. Owners can have confidence in the performance and reliability of their printers backed up by the fast and comprehensive support from Canon. This is critical for businesses when making investment decisions.”
Canon’s extensive nationwide service network includes technical support, service, spare parts warehousing and consumables supply from Canon’s own facilities.
“With products like the ColorPainter range, the support of manufacturers like our partners at OKI Data Infotech, and the back-up provided by our service and support network, Canon customers can have confidence in our promise to work with them to help them build their business success.”
