Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has announced that the fourth annual “Wrap Like a King” Challenge will run July 1 (05:00PM AEST) through to October 1, 2016 (04:59PM AEST). With the addition of Australia and New Zealand this year, wrap installers from 44 countries across the globe can submit commercial or colour change wrap projects to be judged to win prize packages worth a total of US$25,000.
Over 170 installers entered the Challenge last year, and more are expected to compete in 2016.
“We are very pleased to be part of this competition and believe the quality of work produced from the ANZ region will go a long way to showcasing the talent we have within our industry. It's a great opportunity to get global exposure for the wrapping community; I wish all the entries the best of luck” said Jordan Leach, Business Manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions, Australia and New Zealand.
Eight geographic regions in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand have been established for the 2016 Wrap Like a King Challenge. Wrap installers from these regions will submit projects featuring Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film, Conform Chrome series, Avery Dennison MPI 1105 Supercast Digital film, or a combination of car wrap films to be evaluated against their regional peers by a
panel of judges with a winner emerging from each region. Submitted entries will be assessed based on a combination of criteria including uniqueness of the design, quality of installation and visual transformation. Details are available on www.wraplikeaking.com.
The first 25 submissions in the Challenge will receive a special entry prize. Regional winners will be announced in October 2016. The overall winner will be chosen by the panel of judges as the best in show and crowned the “King of the Wrap World” at the 2016 SEMA Show, November 1-4, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV.
