Mutoh America was recently honoured with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association's (SGIA) Product of the Year award for the ValueJet 1628 printer in the solvent or latex ink under 203,2cm (80-inch) category; the ValueJet 1938TX 190.5 (75-inch) direct to textile printer in the Roll-to-Roll Disperse Ink on Textile category; the ValueJet 1638UH 203.2cm (64-inch) UV-LED hybrid printer in both the Flatbed/Hybrid Under R1.3million ($100k) and Roll-to-Roll UV Under 203.2cm (80-inch) categories.
The competition recognises the latest equipment and supplies currently on the market that are advancing the specialty imaging industry.

The competition judged submissions across 19 categories for output devices and 29 categories for non-output devices. Conducted during the 2016 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, September 14-16, 2016), this year's event was one of the most challenging in recent history.

'The award winners have been extremely enthusiastic about their wins, understanding just how competitive the field was this year.’
