Direct Color Systems has announced that they have received the patent for their UV LED ADA-Compliant Braille sign printing process.
“The entire team here at DCS worked diligently to ultimately receive this patent. It is something that we are all very proud of,” says Blair Allen, President of Direct Color Systems. “Our goal is to manufacture printers and develop innovative applications that make our customers more profitable in multiple areas of their business. Our hope is that patents like this, along with our continued development of other patent-pending applications, show that we are committed to that goal.”
Save a step or two – or 29!
Producing these highly profitable signs has never been easier. The number of steps needed to create ADA-compliant Braille signage depends on who is doing the counting, but by DCS’s count, this patented process saves retailers between 10 and 29 steps over other production methods available today.
Compliant Printer Models The complete line of Direct Jet UVMVP and 7200z printer models are compliant with Braille pat. no. 9,498,977.
