Avery Dennison has introduced a new portfolio of perforated window film products – MPI 2509, MPI 2709 and MPI 3709. Ideal for passenger and transit vehicles as well as indoor and outdoor windows, the three films feature either a 1.5 mm or 2 mm perforation pattern and black adhesive for optimum one-way visual graphics.
The new films are suitable for vehicle and transit advertising on cars, buses, trams and trains, as well as retail advertising on building windows. They can also be used as barrier films for privacy, solar shading, decorative and branding purposes.
Avery Dennison’s MPI 2509 and MPI 2709 are suitable for medium to short-term applications of up to three years, while MPI 3709 is suited to shorter term applications of up to one year. MPI 2509 and MPI 2709 films are covered by Avery Dennison’s ICS Warranty Program . The ICS Performance Guarantee provides a warranted period of 2 years with DOL 6460 High Gloss and 1 year with DOL 1060Z Gloss overlaminate.
MPI 2509 features a 50/50 perforation pattern with a 2 mm hole diameter that meets the minimum required Visible Light Transmission % (VLT) performance for passenger vehicles in Australia. Both MPI 2709 and MPI 3709 feature 40/60 perforation patterns with 1.5 mm hole diameter for optimal image viewing and outward visibility.
All three products offer excellent printability on latex, eco-solvent and solvent digital inkjet print platforms to create images which “pop”. The use of PE coated replacement liner provides effortless media loading and stability to drive productivity improvements.
