Mimaki announced the launch of its new CF22-1225, flatbed cutting plotter based on cooperation with inkjet printers focusing to enhancement of usability.
The new CF22-1225 is designed to cut 4x8 material (1,220 x 2,440mm / 4x8ft) of sign making and focusing to a more enhanced combination performance of Print & Cut with JFX200-2513 the Mimaki flatbed UV inkjet printer. It has a simpler operation of Print & Cut by an ID Cut function, it can print the ID information to cut and media rotation angle, then read the job data automatically to start the cut on the CF22-1225. It saves labour and avoids loss of media, ink and time due to data transmission or media set failure.
The CF22-1225 is ideal, because of its large material handling capability (1,220 x 2,440mm / 4x8ft) for on-demand production of seasonal displays of exhibition components. The CF22-1225 is a neat fit with Mimaki’s new ArtiosCAD Designer Solution software.
When combined with the CAD software, and/or the Mimaki UV inkjet printer it can become an essential element in supporting business to manage an order from design of package/furniture, printing, cut of designed package through to cushioning material to fit. Mimaki state that this provides for cost and time savings, across a wide range of materials including acrylic and rubbers.
