For these pressured business environments, the Océ ColorWave 9000 offers optimal productivity and flexibility by enabling high quality technical documents, GIS maps and short-term point-of-sale materials to be printed efficiently on one colour-capable system.
The Océ ColorWave 9000 features Océ Single Pass inkjet technology and large media capacity, allowing users to manage peak volumes, shorten turnaround times and significantly boost large format productivity.
The system boasts consistent print speeds of up to 11.5 A0 or 16 A1 pages per minute, regardless of image content, media type or finishing device, while the number of maintenance cycles is also diminished.
With six-roll media capacity, automatic roll switching and semi-automated media loading, the Océ ColorWave 9000 is designed to minimise media handling time, while high output predictability allows jobs to be scheduled effortlessly and reliably.
With the smallest drop size (1.2 picoliter) and lowest ink coverage in the market, the Océ ColorWave 9000 substantially reduces ink consumption with uncompromised high quality. The Océ Single Pass inkjet technology offers a wide inkjet colour gamut, producing excellent grayscale output and vibrant colour on a variety of substrates, including lower grade uncoated paper. For technical documents the printer consistently delivers high accuracy, readability and fine details at 1,600 x 1,600 dpi resolution.
Customers can choose from a range of workflow solutions optimised for the Océ ColorWave 9000, including a productive, high volume CAD workflow, an improved high-speed POWERsync controller, and a range of other Océ solutions reflecting the specialist workflows of technical document printing to enhance usability.
Combined with the new top-of-the-range Océ Professional 6011/6013 folder, the Océ ColorWave 9000 provides a complete and highly productive end-to-end solution, with map fold and long fold options to increase the system’s versatility.
Carel Raijmakers, Director, Industrial & Production Solutions, Imaging Supplies, AEC&M and TDS, Canon Europe comments: “The Océ ColorWave 9000 is a specialist technology for large format technical documents that gives customers the productivity they need to stay ahead in the fast-paced AEC&M market. It is set to be a must-have technology for environments producing high volumes of technical documents and maps.”
“True productivity is not measured by the speed of a single component, but by the total path from job submission to folded delivery, which is where the Océ ColorWave 9000 truly shines as an end-to-end solution. Its software, media handling, user interface and folder have all been created with the end user’s workflow and applications in mind.”
The Océ ColorWave 9000 will have its European debut at FESPA 2018 (Messe Berlin, 15-18 May 2018, Hall 3.2 Stand A40/B40), where it will be demonstrated with the new Océ Folder Professional 6013, allowing visitors to see the whole end-to-end solution.
