For the first time, Ipex 2010 will be located in the entirety of the new halls on the UK’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) which are linked via the Atrium concourse and one main entrance.

Ipex 2006 attracted a record 40% of international visitors from 159 countries. To build on the success, Ipex 2010 is set to impress with new initiatives to reflect the constantly changing industry, improved navigation and a practical footprint that joins all the halls together as well as the added benefit of using Hall 16 which sits between Hall 12 and 17.

The new layout, concentrated around the Atrium concourse, offers huge benefits for both exhibitors and visitors including one main central entrance with easy access to public transport and car parks. The linked and adjoining halls provide easier navigation and will ensure a smooth visitor flow within an encapsulated and defined area. We’re absolutely thrilled about the new layout as it will reduce the distance between halls so visitors can maximise their time at the event.”

The new footprint provides a logical layout for visitors and mirrors the print production workflow from Creation & Design (16); Pre-Media Solutions (9 – 12); Output (6 – 8; 20); Post-press Systems & Finishing Equipment (18 – 19) as well as Packaging & Converting (17).

IIR Exhibitions recently announced the dates for Ipex 2010 as 18th – 25th May. Further announcements about special new features at Ipex 2010 to attract an even wider audience will be made over the coming months. Furthermore, a host of exiting activities is planned for the official launch during drupa 2008.
