Hexis are going all out to help the VI Sydney organisers attract more delegates to the show, this time by targeting designers with their "Design a Hexis Car Wrap".
This is in addition to their "Wrap Battle" which proved to be a very popular part of the Brisbane show earlier this year.
Ian Parsonson, MD of Hexis Australia, explained how the Design a Hexis Car Wrap competition will work and then went on to say what the requirements were for entries:
- Hexis will supply the template of a Mercedes CLA200 wagon to competing designers.
- The design must feature Hexis red chrome in both gloss & satin and the design must contain the Hexis Logo (minimum 300mm in height, proportional) and can be angled, no borders or additional colours in logo.
- The design must contain the tag line “Paint Protection and Vehicle Wrap Films”. The tag line must be legible and of a size to be easily read at a distance.
- Additional colour may be introduced but at least 75% must be in red.
- Submitted designs must be a print ready PDF file, all text outlined and supplied in CMYK.
- Hexis logo in vector JPEG or EPS downloadable from www.hexis-graphics.com
Judging guidelines
Qualifying designs will be judged in accordance with the “Design Brief” with the top 10 selected for final judging by a panel made up of Hexis International employees in France.
Final entries will be submitted for judging without names to keep the decision process completely unbiased. Jury Panel decision shall be final and may not be appealed with the result announced at Visual Impact Sydney.
The winning design will be used to wrap Hexis Aust vehicles and will also feature on the Hexis Aust web page. Hexis will also submit the winning design and wrapped vehicle for publication with credit in Hexis Aust catalogue for 2019.
