Sydney-based Pozitive is a local industry leader in the supply of UV flatbed printers, eco solvent printers, CNC Routers, laser cutters and engravers, dye sublimation textile printers and a range of hardware, software and consumables for the sign making, screen printing, graphics, display and commercial printing industries.
“Our long history in apparel and sportswear markets, coupled with a strong foothold in the soft signage and graphics markets, will be the springboard to growth of the Monti Antonio brand in Australia and the Pacific Islands” said Pozitive MD Phil Trumble. “Monti Antonio equipment completes our total solution offering and gels perfectly with our wide portfolio of quality printing equipment, transfer paper and inks, along with our expertise in colour management.”
To boost the distribution deal, Pozitive has appointed Bruce Gathercole – a veteran of the textile industry with 25 years’ experience in representing Monti Antonio – to lead textile sales in Melbourne.
“Bruce’s knowledge and expertise in textile printing and finishing made him an obvious choice to join our growing team” said Trumble. “We’ve worked together on projects over the years and I am delighted to be able to have Bruce join our team in a permanent role, with a strong focus on textile markets.”
Gathercole said: “I am very excited to join the Pozitive team and be given the unique opportunity to provide clients with our total solution offering which incorporates quality printers, consumables and the reliable Monti Antonio equipment.”
Silva said that ensuring clients were well taken care of during the transition was critical. “I am pleased to advise that our previous Monti Antonio agent Jacques Journee supports this new development and will work with Pozitive to assist in providing a continuity of quality service and support for the 100+ existing Monti Antonio clients.”
