Moore has been with Visual Connections for almost 11 years as event manager and has now stepped up to take on the new role.
“We are confident Sarah can meet the challenges in front of her in this new position,” says Visual Connections CEO Peter Harper. “Sarah is a valued member of the Visual Connections team and will only strengthen in this new role.”
The organisation also announced plans to employ an event coordinator to work with current event manager Jenny Harris and will be expanding the team further in the near future with a new marketing communications expert.
The moves follow last year’s departure of high-profile former VisCon general manager Karen Goldsmith, who left in August “to pursue a new challenge outside of the industry.”
PrintEx19 will be co-located with the Visual Impact Expo – one of Australia’s leading showcases for the signage, engraving, display and wide format market – and will be held August 13-16 at Sydney Olympic Park.
"With over 6,000 square metres of state-of-the-art equipment and technology on display, industry leading education and networking programme and an audience of more than 8,000 industry professionals, PrintEx is the event that brings buyers and suppliers together," says Visual Connections - the premier suppliers’ association for the print, graphics, sign and display industries in Australia.
