More than 24,000 industry professionals were on hand as Sign China launched its annual exhibition series with a successful Signage and LED trade show in Shenzhen. The focus now shifts to the major Sign China exhibition to be held in Shanghai in September.

Organisers UBM Trust say 551 companies and brands representing the sign, LED and digital signage industries exhibited in the three-day Sign China Shenzhen event last month at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
24,039 professional buyers attended from LED and advertising fields as well as those engaged in stage lighting, landscape illumination, transportation, systems integration, retail, security surveillance, hotel & property management.
These included 3,071 international visitors from countries including Hong Kong, India, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, the United States, the Philippines, Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, Macao, Spain, the United Kingdom, Egypt and Israel.
“The shows were quite impressive,” said Jonathan Liu,vice president of international division, Shenzhen Leyard Opto-Electronic. “It was the first time for our company to exhibit UBM Trust shows in Shenzhen, but it blew our minds that it attracted a large visitor flow and quite a lot of them were international visitors.”
Kelvin Zhuo, MD, Gd Han’s Yueming Laser Group, said: “UBM Trust is able to attract high-quality visitors wherever their exhibition is held. I was satisfied with the quality and quantity of our buyers at the exhibitions, even though it was the first time they had it here in Shenzhen.”
Established in 2003, Sign China has been devoting itself to building “a one-stop platform for the sign community, where global sign users, manufacturers and professionals can find the combination of laser engraver, traditional and digital signage, light box, advertising panel, POP, indoor & outdoor wide format printer and printing supplies, inkjet printer, advertising display, LED display, LED illuminant, OLED and digital signage all in one place,” said UBM Trust, a joint venture of UBM Asia (owned by UK-listed UBM PLC) and Trust Exhibition.
