Landa CEO Yishai Amir says three of its groundbreaking Landa S10 Nanographic printers are now in full production at sites in Europe and Asia, while a Landa S10P perfector press for commercial printing is up and running in the US. The first Landa W10 press for flexible packaging will be shipped later this year.

Amir told an open house event at German printer Edelmann that Landa continues to make “fantastic progress on all fronts."
In a blog post, Amir said: “We now have Landa S10 installations at Graphica Bezalel, the Edelmann Group in Germany and Schelling AG in Switzerland. All these customers are in full production mode and selling packaging and display print jobs. Our second model, the Landa S10P perfector press for the commercial printing market is up and running at Mercury in the US, producing high-quality, time-efficient customer jobs that are just not viable on offset or other digital equipment.
“There’s also huge interest from all over the world in the Landa W10 press for flexible packaging, and our first Landa W10 will be shipped this year.”
Three local companies are said to have already signed up for Landa Nanographic technology – Blue Star, CMYKhub and Heroprint.

Epson invests in AI

Cross Compass, established in 2015, sees artificial intelligence as “a next-generation core technology. It uses deep learning techniques to analyse data, provide AI consulting services, and develops and provides algorithms and neural networks. Cross Compass has earned a particularly strong reputation among its customers in the manufacturing industry.”
