Entries close next week in New Zealand’s revamped printing industry awards event and organisers say sign companies and vehicle wrappers have been slow to enter some of the 11 new categories in this year’s expanded Sign and Display section.

“Overall entry levels are looking good, however there are a few areas that could do with some of the industry’s most excellent work being submitted” awards manager Sue Archibald told Wide Format Online. “There are opportunities to be had if someone out there wants to take advantage of areas with lighter entry.
“We have great entry levels in the Point of Sale Display Stands but not boards. Vehicle wraps is really very poor. The Soft Signage ( Flags, Banners etc) is good though as always more are welcome. Opportunities are still open for entry but the clock is ticking and entry closes 28th February.”
