The ten-day online auction of Seven Hills, Sydney sign and POS printer, Craftech, is coming to an end with almost all of the assets attracting bids. Between 10am and 12 noon today, Tuesday 22nd September 2020, is the final inspection day where bidders can get a close look at the equipment before the auction closes around noon tomorrow.

The auction house, Liquid Asset Management, is liquidating all of the plant in Craftech's factory and already bidding contests are taking place online on their web platform.

At the time of writing, a 2018 Trotec Speedy 400 laser cutter/engraver is heading for the hammer at $26,500. A 2011 Oce Arizona 550XT is sitting on a lowly $1,950 bid, while an 2014 Arizona 6170 is sitting on $10,000. By far the most in-demand items are the Zund (Oce Procut) flatbed cutters, with the big 2XL-3200 currently at $61,000, a 2010 year 2500L at $50,000 and seven bidders have taken a 2009 Zund 2500L up to $25,250. There's also a Polar Mohr 137 EMC-MON guillotine currently at $800. Note that most of the bidding action, just like real onsite auctions, tends to be in the final hours and the auction system allows for time extensions past 12 noon tomorrow if a bid is placed within 30 seconds of a previous bid. This allows counter-bidding for the determined bidders until there are no more bids and the asset is 'knocked down' under the hammer.

All winning bids attract a very reasonable buyer premium of 10% and goods, once paid for, can be collected this Friday 25th September 9am-4pm.

In addition to the production equipment, there are dozens of lots of office furniture, tools, benches, safety and first aid items - all of the things you would expect in a busy sign and POS production plant.

Everything can be inspected onsite between 10am and 12 noon today.
