Following our commentary on FESPA Amsterdam's assertion that there are 'no barriers' to international visitors now the Dutch Government has removed quarantine for the double-vaxxed in time for the October show, Neil Felton, FESPA CEO, has kindly replied and looks forward to welcoming A-NZ visitors in 2022.

Acknowledging that there are still some covid-related barriers preventing industry visitors from attending the re-scheduled FESPA Global Print Expo in Amsterdam next month, CEO Neil Felton says:

“Following the recent statement we shared in regards to the easing of travel restrictions, we do acknowledge that restrictions still apply for some regions across the globe, including Australia and New Zealand. Although exhibitors and visitors from these territories are unable to attend the October events, we continue to value these communities and we hope that the easing of travel restrictions will allow them to travel freely by May 2022 and therefore have the option to attend FESPA Global Print Expo and European Sign Expo 2022.
In the meantime, we remain in close contact with our associations and members in this region and continue to support them by sharing useful business advice and inspiration content via our FESPA.com and exclusive Club FESPA member areas.”
The main FESPA event is hugely popular with Australian New Zealand and Oceania visitors - but it looks like we will have to wait until the Berlin event from May 31st - June 3rd to enjoy the techo-feast for digital inkjet, signage, outdoor advertising, printeriors, screen print and display. Ah well, Berlin's not too shabby in Springtime/early Summer - we'll just have to say 'Prost' instead of 'Proost.'
