SIGN CHINA 2023 is scheduled from 4th-6th September - the venue remains at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Four-years’ of zero-Covid policy has finally ended and Sign China, with its hundreds of exhibitors, have prepared so much to welcome visitors back. Organisers say that Sign China 2023 will be the year's biggest global Sign Industry exhibition.

A large number of Chinese manufacturers are active in the sign market, and are well-known for their flexible and adaptable technologies, equipment and other products. Of course, the Chinese printed sign marketplace itself is huge, estimated by Mordor Intelligence and other sources, to reach over USD$10 billion by 2027, with a further USD$10-$11 for digital (LED etc.) signage systems, with multiple choices for quality suppliers and business partners. China is also the member of RCEP and ASEAN, taking advantage of tax rates, custom support and making business easier.

September is the perfect time to visit China again
Shanghai in September is very pleasant, with average daily highs of around 27C, lows about 22C and moderate average rainfall of 88mm. China was busy fighting the pandemic in the past 3-4 years. The whole market slowed down and has only recently begun to recover, since the end of 'zero-covid' restriction in January 2023. New innovations, product launches and systems are entering the market again - not to be missed.
The amazing metropolis of Shanghai is just a 10 or 11-hour direct flight from major Australian and New Zealand capitals, with China Eastern airline the most frequent carrier into Pudong airport, a short 30-minute Maglev ride to the fairground. Other airlines such as Qantas, Air New Zealand and Singapore are sure to add more direct flights as travel gets back to normal, and there's the option of stop-overs on the way. Current economy prices are as low as $800-$1,500 return and the deals will start being offered for September when the 6-month book ahead window arrives in April. Another plus is that Shanghai is just -3hrs from AEDT (in same time zone if you are in Perth WA!) - so less jetlag.
