Our old friends at Apex signs have recently fired up a new Elitron Spark C flatbed cutter, supplied by Currie Group. It goes along with a Canon Colorado, also sourced from Currie Group.

Apex Signage vans and installers are ofter seen scurrying around Sydney's northside but the go-ahead company is also now operating in Melbourne and Queensland. 
An Elitron Sparc C with controller
The Elitron Spark C purchase came almost by accident - Nick Greally and fellow director Sam Arnold had bought a couple of Canon Colarados from Currie Group. They happened to mention they were looking at replacing and automating cutting, so Currie Group's Paul Whitehead introduced the Italian-engineered Elitron range.
Apex Signage’s Nick Greally said of the Elitron Spark C: “We reviewed many digital cutters, and the Elitron stood out as a highly capable machine, and fitted our budget well. The machine will help with production work flow and increase the quality and precision of our products.”
Currie Group's renowned after-sales service focus was also a major factor in Apex's decision to invest in the Elitron.
