Whilst the sheer size and spectacle of Labelexpo Europe is rightly grabbing today’s print news headlines, Mimaki Europe is turning its focus to the upcoming Fachpack 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, later this month (23rd to 25th September Hall 5 / Booth 5-425). The company will be showcasing two systems dedicated to sustainable and climate-friendly business practices in line with the show’s theme of ‘Transition in Packaging’.

Mimaki logoHisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director of Mimaki Germany GmbH, says: “We believe digital printing combined with UV-LED technology is the optimal solution for sustainable packaging. Materials such as corrugated cardboard or glass can be printed flexibly, individually, and without stencils, in any quantity and with varying designs. This saves time, costs, and resources. With our flatbed cutting plotter and our sustainable UV inks, we also offer a seamless workflow from printing to cutting and folding: efficient, intelligent, and future-oriented.”

Mimaki’s booth will showcase its powerful Print&Cut combination - the Pinnacle Award-winning JFX200-1213EX flatbed UV LED digital printer and the high-end flatbed cutting plotter from the CFX series – and will produce packaging in colour live at Fachpack. These machine solutions enable packaging manufacturers to respond flexibly and efficiently to individual requests: from printing and finishing to precise cutting and automated further processing – all from a single source. With various expandable bed sizes, comprehensive tool options, and a focus on automation and cost reduction, these machines are suitable for a wide range of customers, from start-ups to industrial groups.

In addition, Mimaki will showcase two innovative roll-to-roll solutions for personalization and labelling: the (C)JV200 print and cut series and the UJV300DTF-75. Announced earlier this year and now available, the UJV300DTF-75 brings advanced UV direct-to-film (DTF) technology to the market, allowing users to print patches and labels onto a special film and apply them directly with maximum adhesion and high scratch resistance, without any weeding. This latest technology from Mimaki enables an efficient, material-saving process that sets new high standards in terms of flexibility and quality.
