Snowcard, a new board from Spicers Papers who say it is the ultimate high quality packaging board that is environmentally friendly.
It is a bleached board with ECF, PEFC and ISO certification and is a two-side coated folding boxboard combining visual smoothness with high brightness and an equal white shade on both sides. Designed for point-of-sale, paperback, food and beauty product packaging, folders, covers and more, the new lightweight boards consume fewer raw materials, decrease transport volumes and produce less waste - better for the environment and less expense to your business.Spicers Papers say that the new board has excellent surface properties that make it ideal for foil lamination, other decorative embellishments and luxury graphics and packaging without losing its quality feel. It provides cost savings and environmental benefits through lighter transport weights and reduced waste at the end of the lifecycle as opposed to heavier conventional grades.
The manufacturer of Snowcard has implemented energy saving programs and reduction of CO2 emissions as a high priority. Only fibre from sustainably managed and PEFC certified forests is used to produce Snowcard.
Snowcard is available in weights from 230 to 355 gsm.
