Direct Color Systems (DCS) has added a new dimension to the full-colour images of its small-format UV LED inkjet printer line, introducing a high-speed model that utilises inline printing and produces breakthrough 3D textured prints.
The Direct Jet 1024UVHS with Textur3D On Board boasts enhanced X-axis motion for up to a 50 percent increase in throughput over its predecessors*. When paired with DCS’s advanced Color Byte RIP 9 software, the 1024UVHS becomes a complete economical printing solution. Any combination of two or three of RIP 9’s groups of white, colour and clear print head channels can print simultaneously, inline in a single pass. Through this innovative process, RIP 9 is able to offer remarkable single-pass and raised-texture options. Textur3D 3-dimensional prints offer a unique look and feel that will bring users’ projects to new heights. RIP 9 also integrates seamlessly with industry-standard design programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW and Color Byte to streamline production processes.
The 1024UVHS has a printable area of 10” x 24” (254mm x 610mm) and prints on substrates up to 6” (152mm) thick. Like all of DCS’s UV LED Direct Jet printers, its white ink creates a very opaque image, allowing users to print vibrant colours and crisp text onto virtually any coloured or transparent substrate. DCS’s UV LED inks create images with outstanding solvent and abrasion durability on wood, metals, ceramic tiles, plastics, glass, industrial parts, promotional products and much more.
DCS will be debuting this cutting-edge technology at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas (booth #2913), running October 18-20,
