The :Anapurna M2540 FB is a robust, entry-level, flatbed UV inkjet printing system, specifically designed for printing on rigid substrates.
It incorporates features typically found in high-end engines such as retractable pins, head safety sensors, foot pedal operation and a durable design.
The vacuum bed technology is divided into dual zones, allowing printing on different-sized media without taping off the whole bed. Separate parts of the bed can be used for different jobs in the same print run.
It can print on most any rigid and sheet material and provides high-quality printing on a wide variety of indoor, outdoor, and uncoated rigid media such as corrugated boards, rigid plastics, Plexiglass, mirrors, exhibition panels, wood, aluminum, MDF, stage graphics and advertising panels.
"The versatile :Anapurna M2540 FB offers very low ink consumption and can accommodate a variety of applications from small to large," said Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America. The printer offers six colours (CMYKLcLm) with white ink and features four production speeds. Its maximum speed, Express Mode, is 484 ft2/hr at 720 x 360 dpi resolution. Photo Mode prints high-quality at 86 ft2/hr with resolution of 720 x 1440 dpi.
The :Anapurna M2540 FB can accommodate media sizes up to 8.3 x 5 feet and 1.77 inches thick and can print multiple boards in a single run for increased productivity. Its flatbed design ensures reliable and accurate dot placement. Eleven retractable register pins ensure accurate media positioning, particularly for double-sided jobs.
