when Kodak took over the entire running.
For most of the 1990s, Peck was Sales Director of Hyphen Asia-Pacific, the prepress and rip specialists who pioneered the way for software-based digital integration of imagesetting and CtP. He trained and studied in the UK with Marconi Electronic Instruments.
“Steve has a thorough knowledge of both sides of printing – digital and conventional,” says Lindsay Barnes, General Manager of Graphic System for Fujifilm. “We are delighted to have him on the team to manage specific projects and look after our marketing. He’s a polished professional and adds considerable weight to our already experienced team.”
Steve Peck adds: “We all know our industry is undergoing great change and I feel that Fujifilm has managed that change better than most, with its moves into wide-format inkjet, high volume inkjet web, workflow and processless plate technology. It’s a true global brand and I am very pleased to be part of the team.”
Peck lives on Sydney’s northern beaches and is a keen pilot amongst other interests.
