It's great to be printing for outdoor advertising. The Out-of-Home (OOH) industry has reported revenue of $60.4 million for the month of October, an increase of 10.44% from the same time last year.

Year-to-date revenue has increased by 7.92%, tracking at $472.8 million, up from $438.1 million* for the same time last year.
Category figures October 2014:

Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres) $19.4 million
Roadside Other (street furniture, taxis, bus/tram externals, small format) $19.9 million
Transport (including airports) $11.8 million
Retail $9.3 million

 

Category figures year to date October 2014:

Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres) $156.3 million
Roadside Other (street furniture, taxis, bus/tram externals, small format) $159.3 million
Transport (including airports) $80.9 million
Retail $76.4 million


Figures have been adjusted from previously reported 2013 revenue to reflect changes in OMA membership, allowing direct comparisons in revenue year-on-year.
