It's always sad when a company closes down, especially a wide format pioneering company like Mulgrave based Colour Graphics.
It's being reprted that the company got into trouble after senior management departed the business and sales started to fall. This was excarbated by a "highly competitive' contract earlier in the year as well as a move by customers to do inhouse printing.
Colour Graphic was the first Australian company to install a five metre Scitex machine back in 1990.
