Following the launch of the Colorjet Polo Turbo high speed banner printer and the Verve UV flatbed printer at Visual Impact back in September, Craig Hornsey Managing Director of Jetmark has told us that they will introduce the Aurajet II next month (November), the latest in their exclusive range of Colorjet printers.

Craig went on to say, "This next-generation eco solvent printer has a 1800mm wide print width and dual staggered print heads, capable of printing at up to 34sqm/hr. That’s just the start of a very impressive specification list. No stone has been left unturned during the development of the Aurajet II, every aspect of the print process has been carefully examined using Colorjets unique 3E design philosophy: Economic, Colorjet Aurajet II 1200x860px 1Efficient & Ecological to accomplish this outstandingly advanced printer."
Asked about the major features, he said, "From the durable structural architecture and robust build quality which ensures stability and rigidity during high-speed printing, to the detailed list of print features designed to collectively create the best possible print on the widest range of media types and weights. From the advanced Feed and Take-up System to the Vacuum-powered Printing Platen and 3 Way Heating System, every angle has been covered in the quest to build the perfect printer. The Aurajet Print Heads are powered by Variable Drop Technology with 3 dot types, enabling images to be reproduced in photo-realistic quality with astounding smooth gradations and vivid colours. The printer heads have 8 channels comprising 180 nozzles each (1440), allowing incredible detail and sharpness. The heads are well protected with the aid of the Automatic Print Head Strike Detection and Warning System along with the Automatic Wiping System which clears excess ink and dust from the print head surface, reducing maintenance and downtime. Another feature is the new Head Capping Station which prevents print heads drying out when the printer is not in use for long periods. Colorjet has even built in the ability to operate on a single print head in the unlikely event of a print head failure. This dramatically minimises downtime risk until maintenance can be carried out.
"All these next-generation features translate into stunning performance and vibrant, photo-realistic colour results on a wide variety of media, including: vinyl, flex, fabric banner, synthetics, PET, paper, film, canvas and a whole lot more. Ideally suited to producing highly detailed indoor signage or for high volume outdoor signage applications, Jetmark believes Aurajet II provides the best value/performance proposition on the market. With all features as standard, Aurajet II is priced at an impressive $22,900+ gst. The Aurajet can also be fitted with a Dye Sublimation kit for very little additional cost, bringing the total price to $24,900+ gst."
He concluded by saying that Jetmark believes the Aurajet will make a big impact, with highly impressive build quality and functionality found in machines up to $10,000 more expensive, consumers will sit up and take notice of the obvious benefits of investing in a Aurajet II. Naturally, Jetmark fully supports and services the Aurajet nationwide, but also offers customers substantial running cost savings compared to other major brands.
