“Thanks to continuing investment in product development and innovation, Metamark reports rapidly growing distribution and market interest in its ranges of sign-vinyl, printable digital media and glazing enhancement films, from both the sign and graphics production fraternity and from specialist distribution partners wishing to align with its successful materials brand in Australia,” says the company in a press release.
“Specifier interest is noted too as product performance is now proven thanks to Metamark’s long-term involvement in the Australian market via Conect Enterprises.”
Among recent recruits to the local Metamark distribution network is Melbourne-based MEP Films, a leading distributor of window films with four warehouses around Australia and New Zealand.

“Metamark products represent an excellent fit for the MEP model,” says Paul Coniglio, Metamark’s Asia Pacific Business Development Manager, who was appointed in May 2018. “The range of applied products for glazing applications meet MEP’s quality criteria and offer the market choice that supports creative applications and reflect market needs. Metamark’s cut and applied films and its digital media are deeply differentiated from competing products and fit well with MEP’s value-added model of supply and distribution.”
Metamark also welcomed partnership with Queensland’s Creative Graphic Supplies (CGS), located fifteen minutes from Brisbane Airport.
“With its customer-first business ethics and over 50 years’ experience to draw upon, CGS forms a fitting and very able partnership with Metamark,” Coniglio says. “CGS has built itself an enviable reputation as being Queensland’s premier boutique supplier of quality materials brands to the sign and allied industries in the region. Metamark is proud to be a part of the company’s portfolio of brands.”
In Adelaide, Metamark confirmed its partnership with Graphic Art Supplies.
“Changing ownership in 2017, Graphic Arts is providing a fresh choice for local South Australian and Northern Territory customers,” says Coniglio. “Under the leadership of Steve Murphy and Michael Clarke, the company is operated by the owners and focused on high levels of customer service, advanced innovation and technology. Graphic Art Supplies is only minutes from the central Adelaide CBD, offering customers outstanding convenience.”
Metamark products include ranges of sign-vinyl for cut and applied signs and graphics applications, printable digital media which comprise staple products used by most sign producers, and speciality materials, including window films, specified by glazing OEMs and used by shop fitters and signmakers.
“The company has already invested significantly in developing its presence in Australia, building and supporting a highly qualified partner network, helping to support end-user customers, and in taking steps to grow a highly energised market that values creativity and quality above all,” says Coniglio. "As the future unfolds, Metamark’s agenda turns toward releasing more product and driving innovation. Signs are that Metamark is succeeding."
