Konica Minolta USA, has announce the launch of its AccurioJet KM-1e High Definition (HD) B2 model, an evolution of the original KM-1e first shown at PrintEx 2019. In terms of size, it qualifies for wide format but is sheetfed and aimed at the commercial and packaging sectors. There are two KM-1s installed in Australia.

The EDP (European Digital Print Association) continues to announce its 2021 award winners. Latest is Durst with two category wins - Best roll-to-roll textile printing system and Best Hybrid roll and board printer in the 3.5 metre category. Both are in Durst's P5 category. the P5 TEX iSUB and P5 350 HS Hybrid.

Just as it seemed done and dusted, March 2^nd will see a Federal Court ‘Examination under oath about the examinable affairs of the company.’ This action has been instigated by the liquidator and Cor Cordis partner Jeremy Nipps through Stacks Lawyers.

Following IVE’s acquisition of Active Displays in October 2021, all surplus equipment is being auctioned off online by Gollant Auctioneers in partnership with Peter Brand’s National Auctioneers & Valuers. The Australian Out of Home (OOH) industry recorded a 24% jump in revenue to $812.7 million for 2021 (up from $655.2m in 2020) but said revenue still trailed pre-pandemic results and was down 17.3% on 2019’s $982.3m. Meanwhile, global outdoor leader JCDecaux's 2021 revenue increased by 18%.
