Kodak launches Kodacolor Film-to-Fabric inks

Eastman Kodak Company has introduced a new ink system for Film-to-Fabric (also known as DTF or Direct-to-Film) printing projects. “We are pleased to announce the entry of Kodak into this market.” The company has produced digital inks for thermal piezo and continuous inkjet systems since the 1990’s.

Jenny Harris to leave Visual Connections after a decade

Kornit Digital buys German textile dryer specialist Tesoma

Kornit Digital has signed an agreement to acquire Lichtenau, Germany-based Tesoma, a manufacturer of textile dryers and industrial machines. The financial terms were not disclosed.

Pandemic and supply chain disruption hit Xerox Q4 revenue

Print giant Xerox reported $US1.78 billion of revenue in the fourth quarter, down 7.9% or $US153 million year-over-year. Full year 2021 revenue was up 0.2% year over year (down 1.4% in constant currency) to $US7.04 billion.

A full review will appear next week but we can say with confidence that, for a low-cost 54" eco-solvent printer, the results are outstanding thanks to new printhead, screening, ripping and drop placement technologies. It's also considerably faster than the previous generation.

Epson announces new desktop colour label printer - ColorWorks C4000

AMWU threatens strike action over 'unsafe' workplaces
