Epson reported strong revenue and profit growth in its second quarter financial results, despite “skyrocketing” materials and logistics costs. Epson’s Q2 revenue of ¥335.2bn was up ¥66.8bn or 25% on the previous year, with ¥23.7bn in profit for the period (up ¥4.7bn).

It's the Awards Season and the surprise event was the ProPrint magazine 'Top50' Awards held at Sydney's Shangri-La Ballroom at The Rocks. Avery Dennison Corporation said net sales for its third quarter ended October 1, 2022 increased by 11.8% to $2.3 billion - “despite ongoing inflationary pressures, currency headwinds and increasing economic uncertainty” - with earnings per share (EPS) up 38%. Label and Graphic Materials sales increased 12% to $1.5 billion.

Digital textile printer manufacturer Kornit Digital has released its second Impact Report that outlines the company’s aim to “transform the world of fashion and textiles into one that is more sustainable.”  Kornit recorded a 39% reduction in hazardous waste in 2021 and a 57% reduction in non-hazardous waste.
